The SKI&SUN Ski Resort in Świeradów-Zdrój has one of the most modern gondola lifts in Poland, 2,172 meters long. The railway is an unforgettable attraction not only for skiers, but also for less active people. In just 8 minutes it takes us from the lower station, located at an altitude of 617 m above sea level, to the upper station on Stog Izerski, reaching an altitude of 1,060 m above sea level. It consists of 71 eight-person comfortable carriages, capable of transporting 2,400 people per hour. Taking the train is not only a quick way to get to the peak, but also a unique opportunity to admire the panorama of the Jizera Mountains.

There is a ski school at the resort, where every beginner skier can improve their skills. The nursery is located at the lower station of the SKI&SUN gondola lift. The Ski Kindergarten and Ski Academy is a professional training course open to all children and teenagers from 5 to 14 years of age. Classes are held from Monday to Friday during the winter holidays.
Tape ski lift
Tape ski lifts are especially popular among beginner skiers and children because they are easy to use and do not require much experience or skill. They are also used on routes intended mainly for learning to ski, where they allow short sections of the slope to be repeated many times. You can find such a lift at the lower station of the SKI&SUN gondola lift.

The area around Świeradów-Zdrój will have something for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. There are numerous trails in the region designed especially for cross-country skiers. Well-prepared routes of varying difficulty are suitable for both beginners and more advanced users.
The Jizera Grouse Trail
The Jizera Grouse Trail - a route of more than 19 km that starts at the upper station of the Ski&Sun Gondola Lift. The trail is divided into individual sections:
- Upper Station of the Gondola Lift – Jizera Glade (Drwale) – 6.1 km;
- Drwale – Mountaineers’ Hut – 3.1 km;
- Mountaineers’ hut – Orle – 5.2 km;
- Orle – Jakuszyce – 5.1 km;
- The highest point on the route – 1066 m above sea level.
The Jakuszycka Glade
The Jakuszycka Glade, the most popular cross-country skiing and biathlon centre in Lower Silesia. It is a place with a unique microclimate that allows snow cover to last an average of 156 days a year.
The cross-country trails in Jakuszyce are an excellent choice for both amateurs and competitive skiers. Their total length is around 100 km – with varying degrees of difficulty. High-performance trails with FIS (International Ski Federation) world certification:
- European Union route – 7,500 m (CL, F) Class D;
- Turów Power Station route – 5,005 m A (Cl) Class E;
- PKO Bank Polski route – 5,090m B (F) class E;
- Marszalkowska Route – 1,000 m (up to 1,500 m) Class D.
Ski walking and hiking trails – approx. 100 km. Each of them forms a loop and connects to one another.
