Glassworks and Krystalium "Julia" in Piechowice

The operating Julia Crystal Gass Manufacture is a unique point on the map of the Karkonosze Mountains – a combination of history, the beauty of glass masterpieces and true craftsmanship.

Visitors on a guided tour can see the process of making glassware from the design on paper through to the blowing, moulding, decoration and packaging of the final product. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern techniques provides the opportunity to create unique products.

The Krystalium interactive centre, which is a modern form of presenting the history of metallurgy in the region, operates at the glassworks. It is also a place full of experiments – you can feel like a glass maker or decorator at specially prepared stands.

Julia also offers art workshops for both children and adults: Glass Engraving, Glass Painting and World of Beads.

There are two company-owned shops on site, a café and ample free parking for guests.
